Stephanie’s Shopping Trip

school supplies

Here is my shopping trip from Saturday.  I went to Rite Aid and Meijer.  You will notice some Target coupons used at Meijer.  A while back I had asked one of the managers to check to see whether or not Target coupons would be accepted there since the coupon policy states they accept competitor coupons.  That answer came back with a yes.  Not all cashiers may be aware of this, though. You can use a Target coupe on and a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item!

I didn’t need anything at Rite Aid this week.  However, one of the items on my son’s school supplies list was earbuds.  I had a $7 +Up reward that expired 7/26 so I needed to use it before the store closed.  To my surprise they had several items marked 75%-off!

My Rite Aid Shopping Trip:

3 Maxell brand earbuds clearanced for $2.49 each (regularly $7.50!) = $7.47

1 car phone charger for $3.24 (regularly $12.99!) = $3.24

2 bottles of flat screen glass cleaner for $3.24 (regularly $12.99!) = 6.48

= $17.19

– $7 +Up reward

Paid $10.19 plus tax

To my surprise this deal also came with two $5 +Up rewards for purchasing the Maxell earbuds!

Final cost: 19-cents for all 5 of these products!
Original price was over $60!  Sweet! 🙂

My Meijer Shopping Trip: I bought everything in one transaction.  I divided this list to show the mperk discounts.
