CVS Shopping Guide

On this page you will learn how to save money while shopping at CVS.  CVS offers a few rewards programs, in-store coupons, and accepts manufacturer coupons.

extracare

CVS has a rewards card called ExtraCare.  The ExtraCare card is needed at CVS to get their sale prices and earn rewards.  It is free to sign up.  You can sign up at your local CVS store or over here.  You can also manage your account and rewards online.

CVS has a rewards program called ExtraBucks.  ExtraBucks are rewards you can earn when you purchase qualifying items.  ExtraBucks can be found in the weekly ad.  Some ExtraBuck deals are good for a month.  Most are only good for one week.  Limits on ExtraBuck deals are posted in the ad.  These rewards give you money off of your next purchase.  For example: If you earn a $5 ExtraBuck reward you will get $5-off of your next purchase! You can use coupons and earn ExtraBucks at the same time.

beautyclub

BeautyClub is a rewards program where you can ExtraBucks for purchasing beauty products.  You will get a $5 ExtraBuck for every $50 you spend on beauty products.  This is the pre-coupon price.  If you use coupons that bring your total below $50, you will still get your $5 reward.  Plus, on your birthday you’ll get a $3 ExtraBuck.  You will still get any additional ExtraBucks that go along with the products you’re purchasing.  For example if a deals states, “Purchase $50 in COVERGIRL get a $20 extrabuck.”  You can purchase $50 worth, use coupons to bring your total below $50, pay whatever the cost is after coupons, and you will get the $20 extrabuck and the $5 extrabuck.  You do not need to purchase $50 worth of beauty products at once to earn the $5 BeautyClub reward.  It will track your progress until you reach $50.  You must enroll in the BeautyClub program by signing up over here.

coupon machine

CVS has in-store coupons that you can combine with your manufacturer coupons.  Simply go to your local CVS store and scan your ExtraCare card at the coupon center.  Coupons will print from the coupon center kiosk.  Some coupons vary by user.
